Principles
Our main goal is to help our customers leverage their existing resources and
applications. Therefore, we created a solution which preserves the robustness
and stability of an organisations legacy system while requiring absolutely no
change to the current applications and their business logic.
LogNet provides a
fast development and implementation cycle. The Lognet Integration Server's Input/Output
interfaces are standard XML/COM. Business logic utilisation is achieved by using
our user friendly development studio.
Operation Logic
LogNet Integration Server contains a queue of requests on one side and a set
of connections with the host on the other.
For each request, LogNet Integration Server allocates a session
from the set in order to communicate with the host. The host screens are captured
in real-time and the relevant data is then converted to the universal XML format
and sent back as a response for the request.
Two kinds of requests can be delivered - a request to retrieve
information and a request to update information. In this way you get fully bi-directional
communication integration with your legacy system.
Accessing
Host Data
LogNet Integration Server communicates with your host using multiple concurrent
TN3270 or VT420 sessions.
Each of these sessions can perform various tasks automatically
or can be configured to be dedicated for a specific task.
All session customisation
and business logic is configured using our development studio and standard VB
script language, thus making it very easy to define the navigation between your
existing application screens and the translation of the information into the
required format (XML, HTML, Proprietary).
Advanced Session Activation Policy
The session activation policy of LogNet Integration Server was designed to meet
the dynamic needs of an Internet application, where in one moment you can find
1000 users connected to your site while in another you can find only 10. LogNet
Integration Server determines the number of active connections with your host
depending on the actual usage of the system.
The activation/deactivation of additional sessions is done in
real time with accordance to the number of requests on the request queue.
This sophisticated logic ensures fast response time for your
clients and minimum usage of your host resources.
Time to Market
In today's competitive market you must leverage existing resources and applications
to rapidly deploy new web applications and e-Services.
LogNet Integration Server is the ultimate solution for you to
shorten the launching time of any e-Strategy you are planning.
By using standard development tools and interfaces you can start
working almost immediately.
LogNet consulting experts can deliver any degree of services
from help and support to complete development of any application.
