EtherWind 802.11b Print Server
The TROY EtherWind™ wireless print server is a compact
device that lets 802.11b-compatible computers access virtually any type
of printer on any of the major network operating systems without using
a cable! It is therefore perfect for any application where running network
cables is impractical or too expensive, or where the printer must be frequently
moved. The EtherWind includes both a bidirectional IEEE 1284A parallel
port and an RS-232 serial port for handling up to two printers simultaneously.
|
With the EtherWind 802.11b wireless print server, multiple users
can print simultaneously from Windows, Macintosh, UNIX, Linux, and Netware network
operating systems. No special software is required on the host computer or file
server, and the printer appears to the user as if it were directly connected
to his computer.
